Overview

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB's Winooski, VT office is seeking an Entry level Civil Engineer to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to work on our diverse portfolio of energy, water resources, and land development projects.

Responsibilities

    Contribute to an integrated team of engineers, environmental scientists, and landscape architects in developing engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of public and private infrastructure projects with a focus on sustainability and resiliency
  • Civil engineering for ski resort, urban development, renewable energy, and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Preparing associated plans and reports and permit applications

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently as well as on a team
  • Ability to work in an office or virtual environment
  • Creative, detail oriented, self-motivated, and committed
  • Critical thinking and resourceful problem solving

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • 0-1 years of professional civil engineering experience
  • AutoCAD, HydroCAD and StormCAD experience is a plus
  • Experience with GIS systems is a plus

Hiring Salary Range: The estimated hiring salary range for this position is $68,000 - $74,000. The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors such as individual qualifications, education, and experience.
