Job Summary

Supports the deployment, operation, and

integration of assigned applications and systems within Butterball. Maintains the organization's repository of software applications and integration processes. Plans and coordinates the processes required to procure and implement applications for business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assists internal customers on issues related to the design, operation, deployment, and integration of software and systems. Provides application issue support.

2. Analyzes documentation and technical specifications of applications under consideration ensuring alignment with business requirements and goals

3. Develops and maintains relationships with functional leaders to understand business requirements and offer solutions for improvement.

4. Develops a strong understanding of how the various systems interact to support both internal and external business transactions.

5. Applies systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to identify hardware, software or system functional requirements.

6. Works within the IT Management System to leverage the full support of IT by understanding and utilizing the Butterball IT Management System (project management, request management, project portfolio, service portfolio).

7. Responsible for full lifecycle for assigned applications including upgrades, migrations, and sunset events.

8. Plans and coordinates the processes required to procure and implement applications necessary for business operations.

9. Contributes to cross-functional projects ensuring extended project teams execute projects in partnership with business counterparts.

10. Cultivates and disseminates knowledge of application usage best practices.

11. Manages IT vendor relationships and support agreements.

Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)

1. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

2. 3+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Experience with interfaces between various systems (understanding methods, schedules, challenges)

2. General understanding of IT security and how IT security applies to software, segregation of duties, and end-user access rights

3. Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards

4. Skilled at creating and maintaining technical/process documentation related to user or system design specifications

5. Good communication skills with the ability to work with our customers in difficult situations by balancing technical knowledge and interpersonal skills

6. Ability to adapt to different environments, across all functions, and at all levels of the business

7. Firm organization, time-management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment

8. Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal and external resources

9. Solid project management skills and/or exposure to project-based work structures

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Experience with SQL tools (SSMS, SSRS)

2. Experience working in a high-volume business transaction environment

Physical Demands

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

* Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

* The noise level of the environment is usually moderate.

* Travel may be required up to 15% of the time.
