Your role

As the Business Line Manager (BLM), you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, profitable growth, and operational excellence of the business line within your region. You will lead a team of product managers, application engineers, and sales professionals to deliver innovative gas generations and treatment solutions for compressed air that meet customer needs and align with Atlas Copco's sustainability and digitalization goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Commercial Leadership
    • Define and implement the business line strategy in alignment with divisional and regional goals
    • Own the P&L and ensure sustainable, profitable growth
    • Drive market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and threats
  • Sales Development
    • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to grow market share, revenues and profitability
    • Set ambitious sales targets and support the sales team in achieving them through coaching, tools, and performance tracking
    • Monitor sales KPIs and pipeline health, ensuring proactive actions to meet targets
  • Product & Portfolio Managemen
    • Oversee the product lifecycle, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans
    • Ensure alignment between product offerings and market demands, including sustainability and energy efficiency trends
  • Team Leadership
  • Customer & Market Focus

To succeed, you will need

  • 7-10 years of progressive sales management experience in industrial compressor industry, preferably within the Atlas Copco Group
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred, or equivalent mix of education and/or experience
  • Must have skills in sales through distributors, development of distribution networks, and territory management activities.
  • Must have great communication skills - written and spoken, as well as relationship building skills, negotiation skills, and self-drive
  • Must be results-oriented, self- motivated and proactive.
  • Team spirit and good communication skills are essential.
  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office programs, and other web applications.
  • Extensive travel required. Must have a valid driver's license.
