Job Description

V2X's transportation solutions group is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Tolling and Transportation projects. This individual will be responsible for the overall management of tolling programs interacting with all groups withing the program office as well as the engineering organization

The V2X engineering team consists of a diverse group of professionals tasked with design

and development of the next generation of tolling systems with a high focus on the inclusion of AI and ML capabilities.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Project Manager on V2X's Transportation Solutions team, you will lead a team through the full program execution cycle, from project start up through final sell off of our tolling offerings. Specific tasking requirements include:

• Provide the day-to-day program management for the next-gen roadside system
• Communicate directly with external customer to provide project execution direction and status
• Communicate to T3S leadership on the status of the program via monthly Program Management Reviews
• Responsible for the financial planning and execution of the program funding which is reported vis quarterly Estimate At Completion (EAC) review.
• Coordinate with the T3S engineering team to produce executable products within budget on schedule
• Coordinate with T3S engineering leads to resolve all program issues, both technical and manpower related
• Manager and report the Risk and Opportunities on the program in weekly briefings

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional project management experience leading teams of 10+ people
• 10+ years of working software development and integration projects
• Prior experience in Earned Value Management
• Prior experience in Risk Management
• Excellent communication and coordination skills

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with managing Agile Style development process
• Familiarity Agile Style software configuration environment tools (EX. Jira, BitBucket)
• Familiarity with Micro-Services Architecture
• Demonstrated track record of managing inter-disciplinary engineers and providing technical leadership

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field from an accredited institution
