The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Develop best practices and training to the organization to improve current processes.
  • Coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  • Consult with project/program leads to help them conduct risk assessments and ensure project timelines and deliverables are hit.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams in completing time-sensitive large-scale projects
  • Mindset for continuous transformation of PMO processes/ tools to stay relevant
  • Strong business and project leadership skills; assertive and diplomatic, able to manage up and down the organization with influence, willing to hold others accountable
  • Excellent communication and listening skills; ability to step away from the details and share the big picture impact
  • Dynamic problem solver with solid analytical skills
  • Superior project timeline development, risk assessment, and prioritization skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Jira, and other management tools

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Seven (7) years of experience with waterfall, agile, and lean, developing and tracking program/project progress through KPIs and metrics, managing resource allocation,change, and impediment resolution, with strong technical acumen and ability to understand engineering and infrastructure,e and security concepts
  • Three (3) of the seven years must in a leadership role

Preferred Qualifications:

o Experience with Prosci change management approach

o Proficient in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tools

o Experience with OKR methodology

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position & Application Details
