Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Applications are being accepted for the following vacancies for the Fall 2025 semester on the Faculty staff of Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, New York.

Department: Engineering and Architecture

Full-Time Instructor Construction Technologies HV-FAC-8792
(Position Is a full-time Tenure track Position) Fall 2025

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Certification in Construction from an accredited institution and 3 years of experience in the Construction industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in a Construction related field. Experience teaching/mentoring construction in any setting. Teaching online or hybrid classes at the college or high school level.

The Instructor will report to the Department Chair and perform the following duties:

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide classroom instruction in Construction lab and lecture rooms.
* Evaluate student performance and complete assessments as required by the College.
* Collaborate with colleagues on course and program development as well as transfer course review.
* Participate in departmental, division wide, and/or college wide committees.
* At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary for Fall 2025 academic year position is $52,500.00.
