TheQA/QC Inspector located in Albany, NYis responsible for inspections of installed or partially installed process piping systems and monitors the handling of materials in compliance with the construction site / project quality assurance program.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Performs material inspection
  • Performs weld inspection
  • Performs installation inspections
  • Conformance / non-conformance reporting
  • Performs hydrostatic pressure test
  • Performs pneumatic pressure test
  • Performs inboard helium leak detection
  • Performs outboard helium leak detection
  • Performs particle sampling analysis
  • Performs trace moisture and oxygen analysis
  • Documents and archives per published TFS procedures
  • Performs Borescope video inspections
  • Creates Safety Observation Reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Piping quality experience on semiconductor and pharmaceutical construction projects preferred
  • American Society for Non-destructive Testing (ASNT) Level II required
  • Certified Welding Inspector a plus
  • Field quality inspection experience required
  • Experience in construction, process equipment or piping industries
  • Must have had experience on construction sites
