Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job Tasks



  • Operate and monitor mechanical devices to identify performance issues and troubleshoot problems.
  • Disassemble equipment to access and remove defective components.
  • Inspect used parts to assess wear and determine dimensional changes.
  • Adjust functional components and control instruments to maintain proper operation.
  • Repair or replace damaged or defective parts as needed.
  • Install specialized functional and structural components in equipment.
  • Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment parts to extend service life.
  • Conduct performance tests to verify repairs and adjustments.
  • Assist in diagnosing and replacing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Support maintenance planning by organizing documentation, ordering parts, and scheduling preventive maintenance.
  • Communicate maintenance concerns to Production Supervisors for coordination with other shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the general work area.
  • Follow all operational safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support safe and efficient operations.



Day Shift | $20+ per hour (depending on experience)
