Position Summary:

This position works with assigned ecommerce accounts to submit approved product content to accounts web content management system. This role works closely with the Product Content team to enable a streamlined flow of data to Ecommerce accounts to maximize sales opportunity. The Customer Content Marketing Lead assists the Customer Content Manager in project management necessary to maintain effective customer content maintenance. This role also supports the development of Customer Content Marketing Specialists who require additional support in troubleshooting and streamlining their processes to improve results and output, specifically for the top earning accounts. Additional responsibilities include supporting management in providing peer coaching and development on technical and relational aspects of the role. This includes training and mentoring new team members and interns. This Lead Role is an excellent foundation upon which to build a project management-based career with advancement opportunities into supervisory or leadership capacities.

What you will do in this role:
  • Manage content for assigned, top performing ecommerce accounts, which includes populating and submitting customer set up sheets, rich content sheets and databases/portals using product data, images, assets from the Almo Product Content database.
  • Exercise, promote and encourage superior build setup standards, ensuring the team is fully utilizing all opportunities for enhanced content, images, and video at initial product setup; also implementing variations, utilizing SEO titles and bullets wherever possible at initial product setup.
  • Leverage and nurture interdepartmental relationships, encouraging others to do the same to work towards common goals.
  • Train and mentor new team members and interns.
  • Identify and correct errors (ie. images dont match descriptions, missing icons, spelling) and contribute to improving product hierarchy, sorting and search results.
  • Proofread, edit and proactively review content to ensure accuracy and consistency with copy, images and product presentation while meeting established deadlines.
  • Maintain communication with Fulfillment Sales team to ensure the workflow and efficiency of ones individual results supports sales goals and sales potential.
  • Focus of the role is working with sales to successfully market the products on customer sites.
  • Contribute to Almo as a customer-facing representative, working to resolve challenges that might arise during product setup and maintenance.
  • Participate in special projects as required.


Qualifications

What we look for in a candidate:
  • Associates degree
  • Systems Experience: Working knowledge of MS office, with proficiency with Excel spread sheets data entry and manipulation
  • Very strong Internet browser/Internet research experience
  • Independent project management skills
  • Proven track record of being customer-centric and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Desire and ability to nurture strong and collaborative interdepartmental communications
  • Prior experience in utilizing proofreading skills, identifying grammatical and spelling errors
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, problem solve and manage to deliverable dates
  • Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in learning more about the ecommerce market, especially regarding sales, supply chain, SEO, and API integration
  • Thrive off troubleshooting complicated submission processes and motivated to find new opportunities to optimize product marketing on customer sites
  • Team orientation and ability to support others during high volume by adapting and shifting priorities

Additional skills, knowledge, and abilities:
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos and technical information. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with frequent changes and realignment of priorities. Ability to problem solve independently.
  • The majority of each day is spent seated working at a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
