*Job Description* We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Managed Care Contracting & Provider Relations Manager to lead our national payor network strategy. This high-impact role focuses on negotiating new payor agreements, renegotiating existing contracts, and cultivating strong relationships with managed care organizations to ensure timely patient access to our services.
*Note: Candidates must have direct experience negotiating and renegotiating contracts with insurance payors. Credentialing and enrollment experience will not be considered.* *Pay:* $36/hr *Key Responsibilities* * Lead all aspects of managed care contract negotiations, including new agreements, amendments, and renewals with commercial, Medicare Advantage, and other managed care payors. * Develop and execute a comprehensive contracting strategy aligned with organizational growth and patient access goals. * Leverage existing payor relationships to accelerate network entry and reduce reliance on standard LOI processes. * Serve as the primary liaison with payors, resolving contract-related issues and maintaining positive relationships. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Legal teams to ensure contracts are financially sound and operationally feasible. * Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes affecting managed care contracting and reimbursement. * Identify and pursue new payor partnerships to expand our national footprint. * Track, analyze, and report on contract performance and financial outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement. * Represent the organization professionally in all external payor interactions. *Qualifications* * Minimum of 3 years of managed care contracting experience with a proven track record in payor negotiations. * 5+ years in healthcare network management, payor relations, or provider contracting strongly preferred. * Demonstrated success influencing decision-makers within major national payor organizations. * Deep understanding of managed care principles, reimbursement methodologies, and commercial/Medicare Advantage markets. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop creative contracting solutions. * Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment. * Strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset. * Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and the impact of payer contracts on financial outcomes is a plus. Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Experience with contract management systems, EMRs, and payer portals preferred. #priorityeast *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
