Summary:

The Vendor Management Recruiter is responsible for identifying qualified vendors for all MCS networks by executing national and specialized recruiting plans utilizing multiple sourcing strategies. This position is responsible for building an ongoing candidate pipeline; conducting thorough background screenings and reference checks; handling the onboarding processes for all new vendors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Works with vendor management to understand staffing and work volume to ensure sufficient coverage
  • Sources/prospects Vendors utilizing methods such as ad placement, cold calling, internet search, etc.
  • Design sourcing strategies. Identify the most efficient and cost-effective recruiting methods
  • Develops a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Exercises screening techniques to ensure only high-quality candidates are considered
  • Effectively communicates independent contractor arrangement to prospects, to include but not limited to: MCS policies, payment terms, invoicing policies, required insurance coverage, subcontractor usage, etc.
  • Ensures all required screening activities are conducted (reference checks, criminal background checks, ensure vendor files are updated, etc.).
  • Successfully negotiate pricing with new vendors to ensure they are aligned with current MCS rates and/or market norms
  • Present offers, secure acceptances, and provides rejection notification
  • Accountable for productivity goals established by supervisor (calls/day, candidates presented, successful onboarding, etc.)
  • Ensures completion and coordination of onboarding documentation for new vendors.
  • Serves as a primary contact for first 1-2 months before transitioning new vendors to permanent vendor coordinator
  • Maintains accurate prospect documentation in the vendor recruiting system. Logs activities such as, but not limited to call made, candidates contacted, applicant flow, rejections, etc.
  • Prepares reports, documenting recruitment activity and effectiveness.
  • Weekly presentation to management for determination on go/no decisions for next steps.

  • Effective time management skills
Education and Experience:

Education: Four-year degree or equivalent work experience in a similar environment

Experience: Six months' relevant experience

Preferred: Residential and/or commercial property services management experience
