Day & Zimmermann is seeking an experienced Field Engineering Manager to oversee all field engineering activities, ensure technical accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and timely resolution of construction-related challenges. This role requires a strong background in field engineering, problem-solving, and coordination between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders for capital and maintenance projects within a fossil and gas combined cycle power plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead field engineering teams to support construction and commissioning activities.
  • Provide technical solutions to field issues, ensuring compliance with design intent and industry standards.
  • Review and approve field engineering changes, RFIs, and redlines.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and quality teams to address technical concerns.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built records.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of field engineering experience in industrial or power plant construction.
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems in a field environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.



In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $93,000 - $206,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
