Civil Field Engineer Planning

Day & Zimmermann is seeking an experienced Civil Field Engineer to provide technical support for civil and structural construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to design specifications for capital and maintenance projects within a fossil and gas combined cycle power plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, providing field support as needed.
• Perform drawing redlines and verify as-built conditions.
• Assist with construction sequencing and coordination of structural work.
• Monitor quality of civil and structural installations.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to resolve design and field issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in civil/structural field engineering.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with construction sequencing and site coordination.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $79,000 - $193,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
