Summary

OneStream builds the most powerful and flexible tools for Corporate Performance Management (CPM), and we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join our FP&A team. The SFA will report to the Director of Customer Finance and will be responsible for assisting in annual planning, quarterly and monthly forecast cycles, and driving the usage of financial and operational KPIs through financial reporting, analysis, and business-driven insights. This individual will be a trusted advisor to senior finance and functional executives, while proactively collaborating, influencing, and aligning the company's planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assist with annual planning, monthly / quarterly forecasting and reporting, and revenue and expense variance analysis.
  • Produce key metric reporting and monthly operations updates for business partners to inform smart and actionable financial decisions that have a positive ROI on the business.
  • Develop and build standardized methodology and reporting process to assess forecast accuracy by identifying key drivers/assumptions.
  • Drive ideation, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements and automated tasks across FP&A and broader Finance, in partnership with relevant cross-functional stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Partner with other supporting areas of the business (Accounting, HR, etc.) to assist business partners on ad hoc requests in a timely manner.



Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, preferably 1-3 years in an FP&A function.
  • Experience with financial modeling, variance analysis, sensitivity modeling and business partnering.
  • An understanding of how to model business operations by identifying drivers and their relationship to outputs.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a bias for action and the ability to maintain high-quality output while driving results with urgency.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas, outcomes, and impact clearly and concisely, using data to support claims.
  • Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros and scenario modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all processes.



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Master's degree in finance or business administration.
  • Experience with OneStream, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, SAP, or Hyperion Financial Management.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Gainsight's.

  • Comfortable communicating with all levels of management.
