Description Seeking a release engineer to lead and scale our software delivery processes across multiple teams and projects. This role will be pivotal in establishing governance, automation, and reliability in production deployments, rollback strategies, and release coordination for a growing portfolio of applications and services. ' Team Scope: Cross Functional Teams including AI, MLOps, Full-stack web, and data engineering Summary Key responsibilities: -Develop and enforce release governance policies, including versioning, tagging and approval workflows -Coordinate multi-team release schedules, ensuring dependencies and risks are managed -Implement rollback and recovery strategies to minimize downtime and ensure release safety -Maintain and optimize build and deployments automation tools and scripts -Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product and engineering teams to ensure release readiness -Monitor release health and performance using observability tools and metrics -Ensure compliance with audit, security, and traceability requirements Required skills -5+ years of experience in release engineering, or software delivery roles -Strong experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure Devops) -Proficiency in scripting languages ( Bash, python, Groovy) -Familiarity with artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory) and deployment strategies ( blue/green, Canary) -Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross functional teams -Experience in environments with AI ML, data pipelines, and full stack applications is a plus Skills Release management, Release planning Top Skills Details Release management,Release planning Additional Skills & Qualifications - build out an hour by hour plan- list of tasks on how each deployment will go, and work build out a template- including coordination, rollbacks, tasks working with the enterprise. -ensure all teams are in line for a roadmap for deployments. - must manage multiple deployments. - 5 teams working on data analytics projects - 1 team working on front end and development changes. - Support projects from a No go to go, - Should have Scripting experience. - any data project or Data platform experience would be helpful - Should have Azure, Databricks, cloud experience Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
