Responsibilities

Paradyme, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, T-shaped DevSecOps Engineer with strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) instincts to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. This role requires someone comfortable in a multifaceted environment, willing to tackle challenges across the stack, and has a strong foundation in development, cloud engineering, automation, and modern software delivery practices.

The right candidate will possess:

    Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily with Terraform.
  • Build, scale, and manage Kubernetes clusters
  • Create and managed application deployments with Helm.
  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and other modern DevSecOps tooling.
  • Partner with development teams to coach modernization, security and reliability practices in their software delivery lifecycle.
  • Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting to ensure high availability and performance of systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive automation efforts to reduce manual toil and increase operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and application deployments.

DevSecOps Engineer Position Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years IT experience
  • Cloud infrastructure experience using Terraform, AWS, Azure or GCP and Kubernetes
  • Application development experience using common languages: Java, C#, Go, JavaScript, Python, etc.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch).

Preferred:

  • Experience developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with testing frameworks and Quality Assurance technologies: ATDD, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, and SoapUI
  • Ability to have technical conversations with Product and Business leadership, in addition to Engineering and Support/Operations teams.
  • Conveys highly technical concepts and information in written form to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to work on multiple concurrent projects is essential. Strong self -motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a team-oriented individual, energetic, result & delivery oriented, with a keen interest on quality and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment
