Position: Supervisor, Labor and Conversions

    Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Manager, Labor and Conversions

    Position Summary 
    
    This Supervisor, Labor and Conversions, will be responsible for the venue's labor team and event operations for private, internal and major events at Tepper Sports & Entertainment properties. This position will report to the Manager, Labor and Conversions.  
    
    
    
    Primary Responsibilities  
    
    
      
     - Coordinate event preparation, conversions and breakdown for private, internal and major events
 - Lead the execution of all labor requests from Tepper Sports and Entertainment staff.
 - Create and disperse weekly labor schedules that include when labor will be on-site and tasks will be completed. 
 - Collect, track, and allocate labor expenses as they relate to the correct event
 - Coordinate venue conversions between major events to include labor and necessary rental equipment to complete tasks
 - Coordinate internal equipment usage, including the tracking of our stadium inventory as it relates to conversions, and events. 
 - Coordinate event operations in collaboration with Manager, Labor and Conversions, to include gate set up, equipment needs, and additional logistics related to building readiness. 
 - Participate in meetings and discussions with stadium vendors and the venue's labor union as it pertains to labor and event operations.
 - Work closely with the events teams and attend weekly meetings to understand logistics related to venue set up. 
 
      
     
      
     - Special projects as assigned by the Manager, Labor and Conversions 
 - Actively participate in executing private, internal and major events as needed
 - Ensure stadium cleanliness and organized storage areas
 - Additional related duties as assigned
 
      
     
    
    
    
    Minimum Qualifications 
    
    
      
     - Bachelor's degree required
 - 3-5 years of full-time event and operations experience
 - Must have a valid US Driver's license
 - Must pass pre-employment screenings
 - Must be able to work flexible, non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
 
      
     
    
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications 
    
    
      
     - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Momentus Elite, and Social Tables
 - Experience working in collaboration with labor unions
 - Experience in an operations position in an arena or stadium with knowledge of event set up and building readiness.
 - Experience working with vendors integral to executing arena or stadium events
 - Bachelor's degree in Sports and Entertainment Management, Event/Facility Management, or related fields.

    Physical Requirements  
    
    
      
     - Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, stooping, and walking for an extended period of time
 - Standing for extended periods of time
 - Sitting and working at desk on a computer
 - Walking through the stadium which may include stairs
 - Ability to work in outdoor stadium environments which may include inclement weather
 
      
     
    
    
    
    Work Environment 
    
    This position operates in a professional office environment and outside in a stadium facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. This position works a minimum of 40 hours per week.
