Lovelace Health System Lovelace celebrated its 100th anniversary, marking a century of caring, change and progress while continuously improving the practice of medicine. Across its five hospitals, 51 health care clinics and 7 outpatient therapy clinics, Lovelace has 619 inpatient beds and employs a team of more than 3,900, including more than 300 health care providers. From the first and only hospital in New Mexico dedicated to women's health to the state's only hospital devoted exclusively to cardiovascular care, Lovelace is a leader in meeting the healthcare needs of this region. Lovelace Medical Center (LMC) Located in the heart of Albuquerque, LMC is a 263-bed acute care hospital with over 1,100 employees providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, cardiology, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.
Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center (HHNM) is New Mexico's only hospital dedicated exclusively to cardiovascular care, including the state's only facility performing left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implants. The 55-bed facility, which features a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room where surgeons can perform advanced surgical services for cardiovascular patients, has become synonymous with high quality, technologically advanced cardiac care. HHNM was named a fourth consecutive Top Teaching Hospital from 2020 - 2024 by Leapfrog Hospital Safety for its quality of care, including practices for safer surgery and capacity to prevent medication errors. Job Overview: We have an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team at Lovelace Medical Center as a Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall financial administration for the facility. Additional areas of responsibility may include: general accounting, data processing, materials management, information systems, and financial reporting. This position ensures that the internal controls are adequate to safeguard the assets of each entity and that the accounting systems are sufficient to generate accurate and timely financial reporting.
