Job Title: Account Manager Role Overview
Medscape is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support high-value strategic sales goals. You will bridge the gap between sales strategy and education program execution by building strong cross-functional relationships and identifying innovative education solutions. We are seeking an AI-savvy, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and leverages technology to drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Support: Partner with the sales team to manage account activity, documentation, and supporter-facing meetings or events.
  • Client Success: Assist the sales team with supporter-facing activities that may include meeting and event management, relationship building, or presentations.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate internal partnerships to ensure seamless, on-time project execution.
  • Project Excellence: Support the development and delivery of high-quality educational programs across diverse supporters/clients.
  • Innovation & AI: Proactively integrate AI and automation into workflows to scale projects and enhance supporter satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging tech to identify new sales opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in account or project management (Digital, Agency, or Healthcare preferred).
  • AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLMs, GenAI) to streamline tasks; basic understanding of AI ethics and data privacy.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, CME, or medical publishing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office, Workfront, and data tools like Tableau or Salesforce.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; up to 30% travel required.
