Job Description
Reporting to the SVP of Diagnostic Services, the Vice President & General Manager, Pharma Services will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the unit, with overall accountability for its profit and loss (P&L), operational excellence, and market growth. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, operations, technology, R&D, and quality/regulatory affairs to ensure business goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of the Diagnostics and pharmaceutical market and proven experience in driving financial growth.

Required Qualifications
- BS in a technical life sciences discipline; Ph.D. and/or MBA preferred
- 12-15 years increasing responsibility in product development, strategic marketing, or healthcare/life science management
- Ideal candidate would have previous GM-level experience with P&L accountability and experience growing a business in a startup setting
- Significant experience in both Central Research Organizations and Diagnostics
- Experience in at least one of the following industries: Clinical Laboratory, IVD manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutics (specifically drug development and commercialization) or CRO. Ideal candidate would have multiple experiences in all of the areas above
- Experience with Global markets is preferred
- Clear understanding of market development and bringing new solutions to market (demonstrated track record)
- Demonstrated ability to drive value through external-facing management of potential partners and stakeholders
- Understanding of the healthcare delivery system
- Ability to commercialize science in the lab testing segment of healthcare
- Experience in evaluating and integrating M&A activity
