About the role:

Join an exciting and evolving talent management team! This is a 12-month defined term position. The Senior Manager, Organization Effectiveness role supporting the Neuromodulation division will partner with the divisional strategic talent partner and HR Business Partners to support the growing and transforming business. The role will facilitate engaging in person team effectiveness experiences using advanced techniques to ensure learner engagement and manage group dynamics. This role requires an individual to use strong design and facilitation skills to foster a development environment. The position is designed for a professional who is comfortable owning and managing mid-size projects while ensuring the outcomes match objectives. Additionally, this role will apply business knowledge and functional human resources expertise to provide direct employee and leader support.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Partner with Neuromodulation Strategic Talent Management Leader and HR Business Partners to support divisional organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Leverage existing processes and resources to develop a consistent framework to build high performing teams.
  • Facilitate team sessions to clarify roles and responsibilities, mission, vision, and team norms.
  • Incorporate tools and resources to build accountability and trust, improve decision making and encourage collaboration to strengthen high performing teams.
  • Perform needs assessments to determine best approach for solutioning.
  • Measure effectiveness and show return on investment with initiatives.
  • Establish and cultivate internal relationships with key stakeholders, such as HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and HR Operations, to drive consistency and execute initiatives that support the business.
  • Ensure services are delivered in compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and applicable laws.



Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree plus 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience in employee development and leadership development programs.
  • Instructional and/or program design experience.
  • At least 5 years facilitation experience; Insights certification a plus.
  • Ability to flex facilitation style for various cultural norms and seniority levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, executive presence, and emotional intelligence.
  • Customer-focused attitude, with high-level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to influence at all levels in the organization and success in working in a matrixed organization.
  • Organizes and prioritizes own work. Ability to manage multiple projects and activities while delivering results.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Windows applications: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (ability to merge data, and create tables and graphs).
  • Must work at least 3-days per week or more at the BSC Valencia, CA location.



Preferred qualifications:



  • Advanced degree in OD or other related fields.
  • 3+ years of professional coaching with successful engagements.
  • Change management certification.
  • Experience with culture change and engagement strategies.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
