Job Summary

Ensure the safe operation of rolling stock to perform all functions in the wood yard to maintain inventory, blend fiber recipes according to plan, and keep the process fed to ensure efficient running of the mill. Operates heavy equipment or machinery, such as a tractoror bulldozer, to blend the fiber recipes.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Adhere to ALL Safety rules and regulations of the facility.
* Regularly cross train as instructed by site leadership.
* Development and utilization of process mix.
* Receiving and inventorying of incoming wood fiber, accurately accounting receipt and use by species and type.
* Sample collection and documentation, both incoming fiber and process mix.

Qualification Requirements

Requires 1-3 years of related experience.


High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Mechanically adaptable.
Work with a sense of urgency.
Work for long periods in a wide range of ambient conditions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Operate heavy equipment or machinery, such as a tractor, bulldozer


Prepares equipment and conducts routine inspections prior to operation to ensure it is safe and in working condition.


Identifies and addresses potential hazards and adheres to all safety protocols and regulations.


May be responsible for scheduling minor repairs and conducting routine maintenance like cleaning and lubricating.
