Job title: Production Clerk (Salary range $46,700 - $60,700, with 4% annual bonus potential)
Production Clerk at the site is responsible for accurately accounting for production and raw material consumption in and entering it in SAP. The role also requires to have oversight on Raw Material staging process and help with other office administrative duties. The role is crucial in ensuring various aspects of production, including accurate product costing and control over working inventory.
Job dimensions
Adhere to all Accounting, EHS and Quality procedures and site policies to ensure safe and compliant product production.
Production and raw material reporting and issues escalation/resolution.
Use plant PPE and other tools to verify proper material and quantities are staged and use fork truck as necessary.
Provide administrative assistance related to ensure accuracy in reporting.
Provide other site administrative support as needed
Activities
Follows all safety guidelines and rules; environmental and regulatory guidelines; uses all required safety equipment & PPE.
Review production orders, process sheets and ensure completeness of batch related paperwork.
File and appropriately store process sheets and other paperwork
Use SAP to perform shipping/receiving/inventory related transactions, review COGI and per TECO
Performing cycle counting of raw materials & inventory, and record results in SAP with approvals
Coordinate material staging for production and double-checking production paperwork & product labeling.
Record production and assist with month end closing activities
Search for missing or misplaced inventory (occasional use of fork truck required). If missing, inform scheduler so that evaluation of situation can be performed
Work across departments to fulfill site needs
Provide administrative assistance and perform other duties as assigned by site supervision

Work under minimal supervisor work in a fast-paced production environment where safety, accuracy, and speed are essential, where simultaneous competing priorities require effective and efficient communication & multi-tasking to succeed.
Ability to understand and follow both standardized and non-standardized procedures and ask questions when unsure.
Adherence to all plant safety and security rules, with a focus on recognizing and avoiding hazards.
Competence in performing math calculations and reading process instructions and product labels.
Commitment to maintaining safety and good housekeeping practices and actively improving safety performance through feedback.
Accountabilities
Have high attention to detail for verification of production documents and verify correct signs offs are present
Accurate production reporting and provide accurate double checks.
Completion of assigned training and tasks within time allotted (inventory counts, material staging, production reporting, etc.)
Use problem solving techniques to eliminate waste and errors.
Adherence to Bostik, Accounting and Site policies.
Understanding of warehousing and production workflows
Working with teams & within teams to achieve results including safety, customer and financial goals, and cleanliness.
Must be able to understand and carry out instructions on standardized or non-standardized requirements, methods, and procedures.
Qualifications / experience required
Must be at least 18 years of age and must have and maintain a valid driver's license
High school diploma, equivalent, or a satisfactory work record is required
Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
Must be able to calculate various measurements using basic math skills.
Fork Truck experience preferred; additional training will be provided
Previous SAP experience required. Other ERP software experience acceptable.
Ideal candidate would spend time on the production floor in cold/hot conditions frequently.
