The college is governed by the University of Arkansas System Board of Trustees and a seven-member Board of Visitors and derives its support largely from student tuition and fees and legislative appropriations. Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:*Develop, implement and teach specialized training programs for industry which could include any of the following areas: industrial maintenance theory and practice, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor control, industrial electricity, programmable logic controllers, and other advanced manufacturing functions. Other industrial, mechanical, electrical or chemical classes could be included, depending on experience of chosen applicant.*Assist in coordination of Business and Industry Center classes, events, and outreach. Deliver training as needed including off-campus offerings, with evenings and weekend classes, as needed. *Attend training and obtain certifications needed to perform duties. *Responsible for maintaining safety in labs; including tools and equipment. *Collaborate with internal UA-PTC departments, external workforce development entities, and industry representatives to address current and emerging workforce education needs within the College's service area. *Collaborate with the Executive Director of Business and Industry Center and the Director of Workforce Development in relation to strategic planning, program implementation, marketing efforts, and process improvements. *Actively serve on college committees. *Actively participate in community relations events to represent the College. *Aid in selection, implementation and utilization of programs determined by industry partners. *Update and maintain lab equipment to industry standards. *Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
