Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)

Overview:

Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioner and the leader.

* Room patients, vital signs Assists with procedures, EKG

* Instrument maintenance and prep

* Stock exam rooms

* Documentation, scanning

* Point of care testing

* Basic in basket and refills

* Communicate with physician or APP

* Follow protected information policy, follow OSHA standards

* Adopt PPE and Quality/Safety Policies

* Medication reconciliation, injection administration

* Schedule appointments, medical record releases

* Diagnostic and ancillary order entry

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.

Or

Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire
