Production Manager

As the Production Manager, you will manage all operations for Teslin production within the Barberton facility including operations manager, quality supervisor, process engineers, and production supervisors. You will oversee multiple operational activities (bulk material handling, extrusion, calendaring, extraction, distillation, and web handling) including planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/throughput targets, targets for product loss, and all quality standards.

You will report directly to the Plant Manager, and will be located onsite in Barberton, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Meet all business metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost along with employee engagement and culture.
• Collaborate with all departments including project engineering, maintenance, supply chain, EHS, technical department, and any other function required to meet goals.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve OEE to meet production demands of the growing Teslin business and contribute to overall goals of the facility.
• Monitor and develop actions for continued improvement in environmental performance to meet regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, chemical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• 7+ years minimum experience managing individuals.
• Previous experience with continuous improvement methodologies required (Lean preferred)
• Experience with EHS, experience building a safety culture.
• Hands-on leadership style required, willing to get involved to help solve problems, trouble shoot.
