DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will handle regional purchasing, vendor payments, invoice reconciliation, and audit support while ensuring compliance with state contracts and Department of General Services guidelines. Work involves assisting with vehicle records, license sales, and publications as well as providing general office and public support. You will be responsible for issuing hunting and fishing licenses, updating gasoline storage tank reports, reviewing field notes, maintaining rosters, and scheduling attendees for education classes. You will also have the opportunity to assist any regional supervisor as requested in completing daily office tasks such as preparing mailing labels, creating spreadsheets, preparing letters, or performing inventory checks.

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the required probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the Northcentral Region Office in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience using computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, procurement systems, or databases to complete clerical or purchasing-related tasks
- Experience preparing procurement documents such as purchase orders, bid requests, or contracts
- Responsible for applying independent judgment when performing procurement or clerical tasks, such as reviewing vendor quotes, verifying compliance, or resolving discrepancies
