Job Title: Process Improvement Analyst Location: Tolleson, Arizona (on-site role) Compensation: $65k to $85k Your Job We are seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to join the R&D Team to serve as a key problem solver and innovation driver within our operations. In this role, you'll apply your engineering mindset to identify bottlenecks, design practical solutions, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen product quality. As a member of the R&D team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams in many disciplines within the organization to bring new products to market, qualify raw materials, and introduce new technologies onto the production floor. Using data driven methods such as Design of Experiments (DOE), root cause analysis, and statistical tools, you'll troubleshoot recurring issues and prevent future challenges. Beyond technical problem-solving, you'll also play a vital role in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate specifications, and training plant personnel on best practices, making sure improvements are sustainable and widely adopted. Our Team At Georgia-Pacific, our EarthKraft recyclable mailers are redefining sustainable shipping by combining durability, environmental responsibility, and innovative design. You will be sitting at our GP Tolleson facility, part of our Innovation Institute, as a member of the R&D team, you'll work at the forefront of packaging technology, collaborating closely with Quality, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to develop, test, and optimize high-performance mailer products. With a team of about 115 employees, we create solutions that protect products, reduce environmental impact, and set new standards for the industry.
