Position Overview

  • We're in a transformative period for commercial real estate and organizational operating models. The rise of hybrid work, advances in workplace technology, and evolving business requirements are creating unprecedented opportunities to reimagine how real estate functions operate and deliver strategic value through optimized organizational structures and facilities management strategies.

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead JLL's Consulting practice engagements specializing in organizational and operating model design that drives real estate function transformation. This role will serve as a subject matter expert who develops and implements transformative operating models within client real estate operations, aligning enterprise objectives with optimized organizational structures and delivery frameworks.

  • You'll drive cutting-edge organizational transformation initiatives, from developing advanced operating models to redesigning organizational structures to creating strategic frameworks that adapt to evolving business needs. This role offers the opportunity to shape how real estate functions operate while delivering measurable transformation outcomes for global enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex consulting engagements that design operating models to transform client real estate and FM functions using JLL's proven methodologies

  • Apply our best-in-class frameworks to meet the needs of our leading clients, delivering enterprise-wide real estate transformations across different industries and environments

  • Guide clients through real estate organizational transitions including operating model redesign, organizational restructuring, and process improvements

  • Design organizational structures and operating models that transform real estate and facilities management functions

  • Develop operating models for real estate functions including organizational restructuring, capability building, process improvements, and FM integration

  • Lead organizational design projects that transform how real estate and FM functions operate and create value

  • Build team capabilities in operating model design, establish transformation best practices, and lead skill development programs

  • Work with JLL Consulting leaders and business units to identify opportunities that use operating model expertise for client transformations

  • Support business development through proposals, RFPs, and client presentations on real estate transformation and operating models

  • Partner across JLL service lines including Work Dynamics, Project & Development Services, Capital Markets, and Facility Management to deliver integrated solutions that transform client operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Strategy, Change Management, Organizational Development, Operations Management, or related field

  • 10-15 years of experience in consulting or industry roles with demonstrable focus on organizational transformation, facilities management strategy, operational design, and change management initiatives

  • Proven expertise in client advisory with specialization in organizational design, facilities management optimization, transformation program design, and implementation

  • Deep understanding of facilities management operations, organizational design principles, service delivery models, and governance structures

  • Experience with facilities management outsourcing, insourcing transitions, and organizational restructuring initiatives

  • Strong track record developing and implementing strategies for large corporate clients

  • Superior executive presence with exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling capabilities

  • Experience with leading and mentoring diverse and multi-faceted project teams

  • History of delivering quantifiable business results and ROI through organizational transformation and facilities management optimization programs

  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence cross-functional stakeholders

  • Project management experience

  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and understanding of facilities management systems

  • Strong understanding of facilities management best practices, vendor management, and operational excellence methodologies

  • Strong project management skills and experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, with familiarity in agile methodologies

  • Analytical thinking with data-driven decision-making capabilities and proficiency in facilities performance metrics, organizational effectiveness measures, and operational KPIs

Estimated compensation for this position:

180,000.00 - 225,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
