Summary

The primary functions of the Room Service Representative revolve around ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely meal service for patients.

* Meal Coordination:Responsible forcoordinating meal servicefor patients.

* Liaison/Communication:Serve as a central point of contact amongpatients, caregivers, kitchen/food service staff, and other hospital personnel.

* Inventory: RSRs are responsible for inventory and stocking of enteral feedings on the patient care units as assigned.

* Issue Triage:Triage issuesrelated to meal service to the appropriateNutrition personnelfor quick resolution and intervention.

* Service Excellence:Their goal is to ensure the service isaccurate, timely, and meetspatient expectations, enhancing the overall dining experience and department workflow.

* Team Player: The ideal candidate is willing to work collaboratively with others and fill in if needed. A positive attitude and flexibility is a must.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education:AHigh school diploma or GED is preferred, but not strictly required.

   Experience: The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience.
