S&T Color Lab Technician - 3rd Shift

We are looking for a proactive 3rd Shift Color Lab Technician to join our team at our Delaware, Ohio plant.

As a S&T Color Lab Technician, you will manage the upkeep of the color lab during the night shift, ensuring that all operations are in good condition for the morning team. Your main responsibilities will include cleaning, restock supplies, and perform maintenance tasks such as filter changes and equipment cleaning. This position is important for maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment. You will perform some physical demanding tasks.

You will work onsite at our Delaware, OH facility and report to the Color Lab Supervisor.

This is a 3rd Shift position, the typical shift will be 10:00pm-6:30am, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and workspaces to guarantee a safe and organized environment for the morning shift.

• Restock lab materials and supplies to prepare for the upcoming day's operations.

• Conduct filter changes and clean equipment according to established protocols to maintain performance.

• Monitor inventory levels of lab materials and communicate needs to the team members to ensure readiness for the morning shift.

• Help prepare color samples and formulations, supporting the Refinish Color Matching team for the next day's activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all laboratory activities.

Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma or GED

• Previous lab experience highly preferred.

• Candidate will need to work on first shift (6:00am-2:30pm) or second shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) for training purposes before switching to third shift
