Your Job

As a Project Quality Manager at John Zink in Tulsa, OK, you will be responsible for all quality facets of projects constructed by Koch Engineering Services (KES) to ensure delivered quality to our customer. Continuous interactions with KES Engineering, clients, Project Managers, Operations, etc., are required to assure projects are prepared, executed, and completed in accordance with project documents and applicable Code requirements.

At our Tulsa, OK facility, the Quality team is at the forefront of ensuring every product meets the highest standards of reliability and compliance. From supplier surveillance to hands-on inspection and quality control, the team safeguards excellence at every stage of manufacturing. Supporting the delivery of flare and pilot packages, they play a vital role in powering safe, efficient, and sustainable operations for our customers.

What You Will Do

  • Support sales by reviewing quotes/estimates on potential contracts and assist to understand the scope and impact of code/client requirements.
  • Review and become knowledgeable on the currently executed project scopes of work, project specifications, material types, and special process requirements.
  • Develop Project Quality Plans
  • Develop Project specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
  • Conduct Quality Project kick off with the project management team and subcontractors as needed
  • Review necessary Code requirements, specifications, work acceptance document sign offs, etc. with execution team
  • Attend project meetings, perform audits, vet subcontractors, etc.
  • Review returned project package documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist Quality Leaders as needed
  • Review and approve procedures, written practice, NDE Certifications for NDE contractors.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Specific applied knowledge of quality management systems, inspection methods, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing projects and executing time-based tasks.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Project Management and/or Quality Management.
  • Welding Experience or CWI
  • ANST-TC-1A Level II VT/MT/PT certification
