Job Responsibilities:
* Create design concepts and drawings of electric generators and motors that meet functional and technical requirements, cost goals, quality initiatives and manufacturing process requirements.
* Utilize Clients engineering tools (CREO, Teamcenter, PRWB, EDS etc) to design concepts and release drawings
* Intake issue requests from the field, manufacturing and supply chain and resolve accordingly after thorough root cause investigation and analysis.
* Collaborate with internal and external suppliers, manufacturing facilities, engineering partners
* Support prototype build, test and validation activities.
* Support APQP activities.

Skills:
* Team player and detail oriented.
* Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
* Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
* Analytical skills, initiating ideas, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
* Knowledge of engineering principles, theory, and engineering experience gained through projects, internships, and/or relevant work experience
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and quickly acquire and apply new skills and knowledge
* Ability to collaborate with others
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education & Experience Required:
Years of experience: 1-5
Degree requirement: BS ME or Agriculture (accredited institution)
