Summary Registered Nurse-ED Full-Time, Second Shift Emergency Dept. I Corbin, KY The Emergency Department is a 28-bed level III, emergency department, established to provide care for individuals with acute medical or surgical illnesses or injuries for which immediate medical attention is required or desired. Job Description: Description: RN-ER-Full-Time Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Assessment of patients' needs. Development of patient care plan/s Provision of direct care. Management of patient care delivery. Demonstration of leadership skills. Support for quality care. Customer relations and healing environment. Requirements: Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky. Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university. Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years. Basic Life Support. ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
