Description: Splice various types and sizes of fiber optic cable, including single-mode, multimode, stranded, and ribbon. Analyze and troubleshoot basic technical issues. Review, interpret, and work with maps, drawings, blueprints, and testing documents. Perform daily tests, checks, and maintenance on splicing and testing equipment. Conduct optical continuity and conformance testing. Make splicing rearrangements on existing facilities in buried, underground, aerial, and building work locations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
