As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Supervisor in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, controlling access points, and maintaining a visible presence to support a positive atmosphere. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and delivery personnel to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and offering directions as needed while following site-specific protocols.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
• Respond calmly and quickly to incidents and critical situations, following established procedures and protocols.
• Document observations, occurrences, and security-related incidents thoroughly in reports for review by management.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, supporting site evacuation and/or lockdown procedures.
• Follow all site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines to maintain a professional presence at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
