What this job involves:

Ensure the highest standards of financial risk management and regulatory compliance across JLL's financial services account operations. As Senior Finance Manager for Risk & Compliance, you'll safeguard both organizations through comprehensive risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and control implementation across all financial processes. This critical role requires deep expertise in financial regulations, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies within the complex landscape of banking and real estate services. You'll serve as the primary guardian of financial integrity, ensuring all activities meet stringent regulatory requirements while supporting business growth and operational efficiency for this premier client relationship.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Design and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and compliance programs specific to account requirements
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and control testing across all financial processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
  • Monitor compliance with SOX requirements and internal JLL policies while ensuring adherence to client standards
  • Lead internal and external audit coordination, managing audit requests and implementing corrective action plans as needed
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure team-wide compliance awareness and execution
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to address emerging regulatory requirements and industry changes
  • Provide regular risk reporting to senior leadership and client stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and trending issues

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field with 7+ years of risk and compliance experience
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CRM, FRM, or similar risk management credentials
  • Extensive knowledge of SOX compliance and financial services risk management
  • Experience designing and implementing internal controls and compliance monitoring programs
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, credit risk, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Proven track record of successful audit management and regulatory examination support
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries
  • Knowledge of real estate industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software platforms
  • Understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements
  • Experience with data analytics and risk modeling tools
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present complex risk concepts to diverse audiences
  • Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional compliance initiatives

Estimated compensation for this position:

125,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
