POSITION PURPOSE: The Receiving Coordinator's role ensures that the warehouse's inbound or outbound loads remain efficient and in accordance with OWI's company policies. The Receiving Coordinator is the primary traffic contact and controls how product comes into and out of the warehouse. DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare paperwork & process the receipt of all containers and inbound trucks into inventory Generate TO's for daily put away of inbound materials via truck or container (storage location 1000,1010, & 1020) Respond to appointment requests, driver inquiries, and other communications Obtains signatures and maintains appropriate shipping paper documentation Work in unison with Operations Manager on prioritizing work to ensure timely unloading of trucks and Goods Receipt Delegate tasks to warehouse or forklift operators Develop & maintain shipment reconciliation policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Receiving KPI's Responsible for truck yard management as appropriate SAP & process training Work with management team on product knowledge Answer customer service inquiries regarding order and shipment status Work with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: High school diploma/GED required Previous warehouse experience 3-5 years Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of SAP & Excel Bilingual abilities are a plus Able to work independently Teamwork, Dependable, and Reliable Available to work occasional weekends This opportunity offers a competitive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage with wellness benefits Company-matching 401(k) plan Company-paid life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment benefits Company-paid long-term care coverage Company-paid disability Flexible spending and health savings accounts Company-paid employee assistance program Paid time off and paid holidays Additional benefits included: voluntary life insurance, legal benefits, critical illness, accident insurance, and pet insurance Old World Industries is among the largest privately held companies competing in the automotive aftermarket today.
