POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Bank Administration Analyst. The position will provide primary support for overall administration of bank accounts and online banking systems. This position requires someone with great attention to detail, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Bank administration functions:

  • Establishing and maintaining online user IDs, proper entitlement provisioning and account services

  • Open and close bank accounts, both internationally and domestically while adhering to compliance guidelines

  • Create and manage various banking structures in accordance with corporate policy, ensuring all accounts and services are properly authorized and maintained

  • Maintain signatories as well as Officers / Directors at banks

  • Track and maintain accurate bank account and signer lists in central repository

  • Proper organization of files and documentation

  • Process encashment requests and other bank branch requests

  • Process and monitor encashments and other branch-related banking requests in accordance with internal procedures

Bank Fees:

  • Track, monitor and report monthly bank fees

  • Analyze fees to ensure proper billing and make recommendations to reduce fees where possible

  • Primary contact for addressing and reporting fraud items to internal resources

  • Key partner between internal business units, IT and external banking partners

  • Ensure documentation around processes is current

  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline and automate processes

  • Assist with accounting and audit requests, annual audit of bank accounts and ad hoc requests

  • Back up support for Treasury Operations team

  • Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • College degree preferred

  • 5+ years related work experience preferred

  • Knowledge of accounting and finance principles, banking products and terminology

  • Proficiency with MS Office is required (especially Excel)

  • Strong interpersonal communications skills

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication, computer, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must be very detailed-oriented, able to prioritize duties and able to meet a variety of deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to take initiatives on their own an

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA

The target annualized base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $75,000. In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target of5%. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
