About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager, Engineering, to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As a Project Manager, Engineering, you will lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, driving safety, reliability, and operational excellence across our bakery network. You will play a critical role in strengthening longterm engineering strategy, supporting new product development, and enhancing equipment performance. This role requires 50-75% travel to support multisite project execution.

Compensation



  • Salary Range: $109,000-$135,000



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Lead engineering projects from Basis of Design through commissioning to deliver safe, ontime, onbudget execution
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor evaluation to support capital program success
  • Manage stakeholder communication, progress reporting, and project documentation
  • Guide contractor oversight and ensure successful transition of assets to Operations and Maintenance teams
  • Support multisite operations with smallscope projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to multiyear capital planning, forecasting, and spend reporting
  • Serve as a maintenance SME to develop engineering solutions for recurring failures or inefficiencies



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (any discipline)
  • 7-10 years of project management and/or reliability engineering experience in food manufacturing
  • Experience with asset care, maintenance management, and capital project execution
  • Knowledge of safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting product development and commercialization through engineering solutions
  • Strong project leadership, coordination, and planning capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience preferred

  • Experience in bakery, food manufacturing, or CPG industries
  • Background supporting multisite capital or engineering projects
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
