As a Security Officer - Government Site - Full Time in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This position involves driving duties as part of patrol responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access or violations of established protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities through detailed and accurate written reports.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary, following established procedures for government locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
