Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance. In this role, you will oversee all maintenance functions critical to the efficient operation of our plant, including manufacturing, utility services, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and more. You will play a vital role in coaching and developing our Maintenance and Operations teams, focusing on loss elimination and risk management through a proactive maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Oversight:Lead efforts to minimize technical stoppages and ensure systematic reviews of all critical processes and utilities.
  • Performance Monitoring:Analyze plant/equipment trends to optimize operations and reduce downtime, proposing key performance indicators aligned with best maintenance practices.
  • Supervision & Training:Provide direct supervision to a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring job planning and execution meet high-quality standards. Develop and lead a network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in reliability programs.
  • Communication & Collaboration:Share best practices across Nestle USA and Canada, collaborating with corporate engineers and plant partners to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with government regulations and conduct inspections to identify potential issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Reliability, Chemical, or related field) is required.
  • Experience:Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of utilities, facilities, or production equipment maintenance. Certification as a Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred.
  • Skills:Strong technical and leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in maintenance management software (SAP preferred). Familiarity with TPM/PM tools and regulatory requirements for food safety is essential.
