This person will be focusing on developing new business opportunities in the Southern US providing new contacts for business, initiating opportunity development, developing RFP responses with our engineering teams, and collaborating with manufacturing suppliers and distributors in the region. Responsibilities Primary focus is sales and business development for clients in the Southern US, providing new contacts for business, initiating opportunity development, developing RFP responses with our engineering teams, and collaborating with manufacturing suppliers and distributors in the region.
Minimum Requirements Education A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferred are Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Technical degree with equivalent industry experience may be substituted. Experience 10+ years' experience in industry. Successful track record of business development of process systems solutions and control system integration with a variety of industries and clients. Detailed knowledge of hardware and software in the industry, application or design experience with an OEM, A/E firm, Systems Integrator, or Engineering firm is preferred. This person must have established local contacts and a proven plan for market penetration, expansion, and diversification. Physical Demands of Position Seeing, hearing, clear speech, driving, ability to travel distances. Anticipated travel of 25-50%. Working Environment Standard office environment with frequent use of personal computer, copy machines, along with miscellaneous office equipment. Ideally the interested individual is able to work in our Dallas or Houston offices for a portion of the week in order to collaborate with our engineering team closely.
