LPN - DUKE WOMENS HEALTH HERITAGE

Job Location:

3000 Rogers Rd in Wake Forest NC.

Job Summary:

We are seeking anLPNto be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients atDuke Women's Health Heritage.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Patient care responsibilities - rooming patients, collecting histories, and charting, ensuring medications are up to date and all information is correct prior to visit.
  • Fulfills EOC Responsibilities - cleaning exam rooms, stocking supplies, maintain a safe work environment.
  • Acts as clinical liaison between patients, clinical and clerical teams.
  • Assist providers as needed within scope of practice (ex. Assists with routine exams, procedures, chaperone exams).
  • Perform basic laboratory tests on premises (ex. Blood draws, POCT, Urine).
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by provider.
  • Sterilize and high level disinfect medical equipment.
  • Perform other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by a provider or RN.



Job Eligibility Requirements:



  • North Carolina or Multistate LPN License Required. NCBON must be notified within 60 days if using a multistate license.
  • 1 Year of LPN experience preferred
  • BLS required



Job Hours:

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
