Summary: We're looking for a driven and collaborative Content & Communications Specialist to join our newly formed Communications and Content team at Osaic. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our clients' (financial advisors) experience and contribute to high-impact initiatives that align with our brand, mission, and strategic goals. You'll work closely with teams across the firm to deliver thoughtful, consistent messaging, supporting advisor satisfaction and growth. Develop and support content strategy for strategic marketing and communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with Osaic's brand and mission. Write, edit, and manage messaging for advisor-facing communications, maintaining consistency in tone and voice across channels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Digital Marketing, Creative Services, Communications, Strategy, and more, to support integrated campaigns. Contribute to the creation of mainstage script development, presentation wireframes, and additional on-site features (e.g., promotional screens) for firm-wide conferences. Partner with specialized teams to support recurring and ad hoc communications needs. Translate complex concepts and writings into clear, consumable, and engaging content tailored for financial professionals and their clients. Collaborate closely with digital and creative teams to articulate and execute a clear creative vision, helping bring ideas to life. Help maintain and enhance advisor experience through strategic messaging and content delivery. Leverage Microsoft Copilot to streamline content development, enhance efficiency, and support scalable communication efforts. Develop and maintain AI personas to ensure consistent voice, tone, and messaging. Assist in the development of additional efforts as needed, such as executive communications, thought leadership, brochures, and digital content.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or another related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree in these areas. Basic Requirements:
3-5+ years of previous experience in corporate writing, content development, communications, or another related role. Superior writing and editing skills, including ability to research and synthesize information into content that meets the target audience's needs. Strong attention to detail. Demonstrates confidence and expertise and has a proven history of successfully building and maintaining relationships with senior leaders and other business partners. Strong organization, time management and productivity skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to bring fresh perspective to existing processes or materials. Strong listening skills and ability to find resolutions or compromises to conflicting opinions and instructions.
High business acumen and a curiosity for learning more about subject matter, the firm, our industry, and current best practices.
Preferred Requirements:
Previous financial industry experience preferred but not required. Proficiency with digital content platforms (e.g., intranets, content management systems, and workflow tools) and AI tools. Experience developing audience personas or segmentation strategies to guide targeted messaging and content creation.
