Job Description Project Coordinator Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Indianapolis, IN - West Chester, OH or High Point, NC Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Project Coordinator, in the FMI (Fastenal Managed Inventory) Technology Operations and Development department, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meets the required quality standards. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and other departments to achieve project objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Assisting in the development of project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, milestones, and timelines o Maintaining clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, team members, and other departments. Providing regular updates on project status and progress. o Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure deliveries are met in a timely and accurate manner o Developing and maintain project materials, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), graphics, training materials, reports and conceptual documents o Utilizing various applications and tools, both common and specialized, to create and manage project materials o Maintaining accurate records and project tracking o Demonstrating knowledge of business offerings, products, processes, and standards REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Excellent written and oral communication skills. o Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite o Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills. o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented. o Work independently as well as in a team environment. o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities. o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork. o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY). PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Operations, Communications, Marketing or a related field of study OR have administrative, customer service or industry related experience and product knowledge o Experience with graphic design software, project management tools, and other relevant applications.
