| Position Summary |
The Senior Coordinator for Student Activities reports to the Assistant Director for Student Activities and is primarily responsible for supporting the overall portfolio of student activities with specific focus on special events, late-night experiences, and collaborative departmental activities. In addition, the Senior Coordinator serves as the primary advisor of the Homecoming Committee and provides secondary advising to the University Union Student Programming Board. |

Student activities and event programming:
- Support student activities overall programming efforts.
- Directly oversee the late-night, special, and collaborative ELS departmental events within the unit to include the weekend movie screenings.
- Coordinate the marketing and promotion of all ELS departmental student activities.
- Provide secondary advising and support to the University Union Student Programming Board.

Serve as the primary advisor to the Homecoming Committee:
- Coordinate and execute individual and collaborative events in conjunction with student leaders.
- Facilitate training for the student leaders on event planning, risk mitigation, operational logistics, team building, etc.
- Manage and negotiate all contracts and agreements with artists, agents, and vendors.
- Oversee management of publicity and marketing for Homecoming and their respective initiatives and events.
