Facilities Supervisor

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of facility-related departments, including maintenance, tool crib, and shipping & receiving. This role ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and federal regulations while driving operational efficiency and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision:


  • Supervise and lead a UAW-represented team in either maintenance, shipping & receiving, or tool stores.
  • Train and coach team members on procedures and safety protocols.
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Compliance & Safety:


  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, DOT regulations, and customs compliance.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment.


Process Improvement:


  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a facilities, warehouse operations or shipping, and receiving supervisory role
  • Forward-thinking and growth-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a facilities, warehouse operations or shipping, and receiving supervisory role
  • Experience in supervision bargaining unit employees
  • Proficiency in Excel & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Facilities Work Management System (WMS)
  • CATS (Corporate Automated Timekeeping System) experience
  • Penta SAP experience
