The Director of Supply Chain Engineering and Facilities Management leads strategic transformation initiatives across Stellantis' North American Parts & Services, Circular Economy Supply Chain Network. This role is responsible for optimizing infrastructure, managing large and complex capital projects, and driving operational excellence in support of Mopar's evolution as a premier Parts & Services Organization. The position requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in logistics, facilities, labor relations, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Impact
- Design and influence the performance of the North America supply chain network to enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and cost control.
- Develop, Shape, Industrialize from end to end, long-term infrastructure investments including new technologies, real estate, logistics systems, and sustainability initiatives.
- Represent the organization in various Senior Leadership Team approval committees, influencing decisions at North American and global levels.
Financial Responsibility
- Lead multi-million-dollar capital projects, including business case development, justification, and executive approvals and implementation from end to end.
- Manage contracts, leases, and budgets that impact operational expenses and long-term financial commitments.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, and innovation across warehousing, labor, and logistics operations.
- Oversee implementation and sustainment of Warehousing Management Systems (WMS) and 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) contracts.
- Ensure facilities and systems are optimized to support evolving business needs and future growth.
Labor & Union Relations
- Lead labor negotiations and workforce planning, directly impacting operational continuity of over 2,000 Union Represented Employees.
- Support employee relations and ensure alignment with union agreements and organizational goals.
Sustainability & Compliance
- Champion carbon neutrality and ESG goals, aligning operations with regulatory requirements and corporate sustainability commitments across the entire North American Footprint.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or a Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or facilities engineering. (Master's Degree Preferred or Equivalent Relevant Industry Experience)
- Proven Experience in Industrializing New Technology and Processes
- Strong technical background to assess project risks and lead engineering teams.
- Proven strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience in labor negotiations, WMS implementation, and 3PL contract development.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive results across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or industrial engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align operational initiatives with long-term business objectives.
- Experience overseeing real estate portfolios, including lease negotiations, site selection, and facility optimization.
- Proven success in contract development, and 3PL performance management.
- Strong track record driving continuous improvement and Lean programs to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
- Experience with SPDS or comparable OEM parts distribution systems supporting multi-site network operations.
- Skilled in business case development, financial justification, and approval processes.
- Knowledge of carbon neutrality and sustainability initiatives, including planning, funding, and implementation.
