admissions.uark.edu Summary of Job Duties:The Assistant Director of Client Relationship Management (CRM) Operations serves as subject matter specialist for the Office of Admissions' CRM software (Technolutions' Slate) and supports continual product development that serves the University of Arkansas' recruitment and student enrollment objectives.

The Assistant Director of CRM Operations reports to the Associate Dean of Enrollment and collaborates closely with the Director of Information Systems. Working with a broad coalition of partners within Enrollment Services and other campus units that support recruitment efforts, the Assistant Director of CRM Operations is responsible for developing and supporting front-facing CRM functionality (e.g. events, web microsites/portals, interactive forms). Additionally, the Assistant Director of CRM Operations participates in the development of CRM-based tools used by the Office of Admissions and campus partners, validates query/report construction, and supports marketing analytics.

The position also helps develop and support vendor-provided services (i.e. SMS messaging software) used by the Office of Admissions, conducts ongoing research to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and participates in appropriate CRM user forums.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education, with a focus on information systems, operations management, computer science, data analytics, educational technology, communications, or related field

  • At least 2 years' experience operating CRM or related systems

  • Experience developing marketing or informational content for web and related digital media

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Slate CRM

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL database design

  • Intermediate knowledge of user experience and user interface design

  • Demonstrated experience in process documentation and user training

  • Demonstrated experience in continuous/agile development environments, user testing, quality assurance.

  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS, SQL, java script, or similar markup/coding languages

  • Demonstrated experience with SMS management systems

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Skills and knowledge (high proficiency) with CRM systems

  • Skills and knowledge (intermediate proficiency) in database management

  • Advanced ability to organize and document user training processes

  • Strong project management skills

  • Knowledge of digital recruitment practices

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development principles

  • Interpersonal and collaboration skills, as well as strong organizational skills
